1A students got to pick a teacher or support staff member to give a McDonalds coke to on kindness day. They definitely enjoyed the act of giving!











The second grade class celebrated Connry's 2nd "diaversary" yesterday at school! We are all so proud of Connry and his strength battling the challenges his diabetes brings. Thank you for the cookies and treat bags, Connry!





2B received their Disney Day reward for filling up their reward jar. We had a fun day taking a virtual field trip to Disney World, "riding" the rides, and learning about Walt Disney. The class also tried homemade pineapple dole whip, which is Mrs. Gross's favorite Disney snack!







UPDATE: The kindergarten class is still in search of the sneaky little gingerbread man that escaped from the school. He has been spotted in many different places, even in Paris!


Sophomores who were interested in learning more about Tri Star programs recently took a visit there. Thanks to Tri Star for the great visit! Applications for 25-26 enrollments are available at the Tri Star website and the priority deadline for submission is Jan. 17.

Grades K-6 will be doing a diaper drive (and wet wipes) as a giving project in December! Flyers will be going home with students this week.

1A kicking off first grade's 12 Days of Christmas with Gingerbread Day. We practiced our math skills by measuring ingredients and doubling a recipe, learning about symmetry, and halves. Thanks to the Wessel family for providing the ingredients for our gingerbread 'cookies'.

Gingerbread Day in 1st Grade! We decorated Gingerbread houses, made Gingerbread ornaments, and decorated and tasted Gingerbread cookies!











Help!!! We made a giant gingerbread man to decorate together in Kindergarten and he RAN AWAY! If you see him can you please send us a letter knowing where he is??

4th graders are modeling the 3 - D trees they created in this 3 week rotation of art!


The NK LEGO Robotics team presented at the board meeting on Monday night. They shared their innovation project and showed some of their coded robot missions. They are a bright bunch of kiddos!





4th grade went on a tour with Mr. Schroer to see how electricity enters our building and where it goes. They received a backstage pass to the boiler room and were able to see what is above our ceiling tiles!







Sixth grade made Thanksgiving parade balloons 🎈 🦃 They're such a creative bunch!
