A big thank you to Leslie Nale (Reagan's mom) for coming in to talk to the 4th graders about her business "Wedding Design and Rental." She does great work, and we learned a lot about running and owning a business!

The 6th graders "dissected" rectangular prisms to find surface area. You never know what you are going to do in Math class!

The last round of 6th grade speakers!

The last round of 6th grade speakers!

Another round of 6th grade speeches.

6th graders performed their "How To" speeches this week. We learned about everything from fishing, baking, baseball, to drawing, makeup, musical instruments, and showing sheep! They did fantastic!

Thank you to Chris Davis for teaching us about soil and water conservation. We learned some valuable information. Plants are natural filters that keep water free of pollutants. A plastic bag takes about 15 years to decompose, styrofoam never disintegrates, and paper towels take about 2 and a half weeks. Recycling and reusing is an excellent way to practice conservation.

Proud of these fourth graders who put together a student led book club! They are reading STRANDED by Jeff Probst and Chris Tebetts.

The fourth graders finished up their study of the branches of government by really looking into the judicial branch. We held the mock trials of Curly Pig and Goldilocks, and performed for each other and the second grade classes.

Everyone had fun dancing at the annual Father-Daughter dance! Thank you to the Prom Committee for letting us host. It was beautifully decorated!

Congratulations to all of the 5th graders on graduating from DARE. A special congratulations to Evan and Lena for winning the DARE essay competition! Excellent work, 5th graders! Thank you to everyone in attendance to support these great kids. 😊

The annual Father-Daughter Dance for girls in grades K-6 is this Sunday, April 21 from 4:00-5:30. Enter the building through the doors at the Ranger (horse) entrance. Admission is a $5 donation per family. Can't wait to see everyone dressed up!

Congratulations to all of the students who earned Ranger of the Week recognition! Great job, Rangers!

5th Grade students finished their Traditional Chinese Pottery Project in Art. Students learned about the Chinese culture along with a variety of traditional designs used in the making of their pottery. Each student completed a plate, a bowl and 1 to 2 spoons.

What a beautiful day for 5th graders to get outside and learn more about our LIGHT unit with solar toys. Big Idea: Light is a form of energy.💡☀️

Our first round of future Rangers signed with us today!
