Thank you to Mrs. Tinsley for teaching 3rd graders about the upcoming eclipse! The students learned the different types and stages of an eclipse, how the moon orbits Earth, and that a total solar eclipse only occurs in the same place every 400 years.

Spring Play update: Due to the play being postponed on Thursday, it has been rescheduled. The play will take place on Monday, March 18, during the school day and will start at 12:40. Parents and the community are welcome to attend at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

High School Painting class is working on their Urban Watercolor sketches. Students first found an urban scene, preferably a street scene or a scene with buildings. They were instructed to use a good amount of water with a small amount of color, called a wash, as the base color. Students then built up color with a last step of using a fine point black sharpie to outline the image as a sketch. These will be beautiful hanging in our halls.
