We had an amazing SHARK WEEK in Mrs. Gross's second grade classroom last week! The students learned so much about their sharks and the shark projects were AMAZING! 🦈 🩵
Congrats to Zeke Vergara and Keira Wellman, who both did a fantastic job representing our school at the state God, flag, and country competition in Canton on Saturday! Zeke received first place and Keira received 2nd place. Zeke will move on to the national competition this July.
This past Thursday and Friday students attended the State FFA Convention. We had 6 state FFA Degree recipients (only the top 2% of the state get this award). We also picked up some awards for the second half of the year top ten teams and Individuals.
Mrs. Gabel’s third graders wrapped up their economics unit with a fun and successful Market Day! Students put their learning into action by creating and selling their own products. They even had a special customer—Mrs. Stetler stopped by to shop and support our young producers!
Sixth grade made metamorphic "rocks" with some heat and pressure. 🪨

A huge thank you to Jim Williams from Midwest Electric for presenting an electrical safety demo to our 4th–7th grade students. Jim taught them about the dangers of power lines, how to avoid them, & what to do if they encounter one. ⚡️
